Purchasing a performance vehicle is not just a decision to be made or a process, it should be an experiential concept. To support the success of our Lotus and Hendy Performance centre in Eastleigh, we are on the lookout for a talented sales professional to join the team to drive results, maximise sales opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience, providing in-depth expertise throughout their purchasing experience.

**The Opportunity**

In this role, you will:

- Play a key role in optimising product sales and delivering service excellence to maximise both business opportunity and customer retention.
- Whether a customer is looking to buy a new or used vehicle, or have their existing vehicle serviced at our first-class facility, you will be their key point of contact to exceed all needs and expectations and ensure their Hendy experience is second to none.
- With a focus on vehicle sales, you will play a significant role within a pressurised environment.
- Whether dealing with a digital lead, phone enquiry or a walk-in visit to the showroom, you will guide customers seamlessly along their journey from arranging test drives to presenting them with vehicle options for purchase.

Responsibilities will include:

- Building rapport with customers and, using sound knowledge, accurately assessing their needs and recommending the most suitable products and services,
- Negotiating the sale price of the vehicles including trade-in values,
- Calculating finance payments including cash or car loans,
- Maximising every sales opportunity to achieve vehicle sales and profit targets,
- Upselling accessories and additional aftersales services,
- Proactively prospecting new and existing customers to maintain your database and ensure repeat business, and
- Creating and coordinating customer appointments, scheduling test drives and arranging handover appointments.

**About You**
- Demonstrable experience within the automotive industry (prestigious/performance brands desired) in a sales capacity
- Passion for service excellence and an ability to continuously delight customers and deliver an exceptional experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently articulate and interact with customers in all situations
- Brilliant organisation skills and adaptability
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
- Strong computer skills are needed and the ability to learn new systems with speed and confidence.
