A rare opportunity has arisen to work with volunteer NHS patients contributing to the training of future doctors. The School of Medicine is seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to join the existing, high calibre, School of Medicine Teaching Support Team.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently across a multi-functional team and be a demonstrated team player.

The role will provide coordination of patient partner participation in several key components of undergraduate medical teaching and require the ability to use Microsoft Office (in particular Word and Excel) to a high standard; in addition to being comfortable in a supportive, customer facing role. This is a part-time position, requiring some flexible working.

Applications are particularly welcome from people from LGBTIQ+ community; the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented in professional posts at the University.
