They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) Estimator to play a pivotal role in their organisation. As a VDA Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess a wide variety of vehicles using Audatex software. Your expertise will be instrumental in accurately and professionally calculating repair costs and timeframes for necessary vehicle repairs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Utilise Audatex to calculate costings and repair durations with precision.
- Maintain regular communication with insurance engineers and customers.
- Create precise damage assessments that adhere to BSI PAS 10125 standards, employing correct repair methods.
- Provide support to other regional sites when necessary.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proficiency in estimating costs for large-scale damages.
- Confidence and experience in using Audatex.
- Effective workload planning to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Adherence to manufacturer specifications for repairs.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility in approach to tasks.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- ATA qualification in Estimating (preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to engage in training and development opportunities.
