**Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off 12 hours shifts from 0800 to 2000**

**About the role**

You will be responsible for
- Planning the route of over 30 vehicles a day
- Ensuring they get to their destinations on time.
- Working part of a team to solve problems whilst conducting root cause analysis and driving improvements.
- Vessel bookings
- Oversee sub-contractors & drivers within this role.

**About you**
- 5 years + experience in the transport industry planning up to or more than 80 drivers per day across all UK ports.
- Experience with fresh, frozen, and ambient goods movements as well as just in time deliveries.
- Good understand of driver’s hours and general compliance within the transport industry.
- Significant experience using telematic and transport software systems.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets in turn meeting customer requirements daily.
- Ability to work under ever changing circumstances on a day-to-day basis including making decisions under pressure.
- Customer focused with high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the business and directly with customers.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft excel and outlook
