**Games Master: Locked In A Room - Center Parcs Longleat**
Participants are "locked in a room" with a series of tests, puzzles and clues that, combined with teamwork, will allow the unlocking of the room's mystery and hopefully a successful escape, challenging them every step of the way.
The role of Event Staff (or who we like to call Games Master) is a varied position that requires applicants to be confident in customer-facing roles, happy with performing and diligent with back of house duties.
The following duties are you will be doing:
**Host**
- The host provides teams with room numbers, taking attendance and answers any queries the teams have as well as dealing with any enquiries we may have._
- The Host also acts as the event facilitator, ensuring customers know what teams they are and providing a health & safety and before game brief. Hosts at the end of the game give out certificates and take team photos and make sure our teams have the best possible time._
**Backstory Actor**
- The Backstory Actor provides another element of immersion and takes the teams to their rooms whilst explaining the key plot of the games. The Backstory is there to help provide the right atmosphere to the wide range of customers we have._
**Room Monitor**
- The room monitors are there to act as an extra team mate for each team as they play the game, and offer help/clues when needed. All staff members will be required to monitor and reset rooms during a shift and work with other staff as an effective unit to prepare the slot_.
Additionally, to the roles stated above, all members of staff help to maintain the high standards of cleanliness in the venue.
**Experience not completely needed as full training will be provided for the roles**
**Requirements**:
The ability to work long hours
Flexibility in hours is essential, especially as we reach peak season of Christmas and New Year
Relatively local to Centre Parcs
Reliable, enthusiastic, willing to get stuck in
**Preferred experience in any of the following**:
- Event//hospitality roles
- Acting/performing roles
- Immersive Entertainment experience
- Hosting Roles
- Front of house roles
- Customer service experience
**Salary**: £10.47 per hour
