**What hours will you be working?**

Flexible working hours - from 1 shift / 6 hours a week upwards including evenings and weekends with flexible shifts.

**What you’ll be doing as Bar Staff**

As a member of Bar Staff, our customers are in your hands. You'll work on the bar and will be the face of the pub and be knowledgeable about the products we sell and be able to make recommendations. Most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and have the desire to make someone’s day.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the happiness of our customers, and responsibilities will include;
- Increasing sales through friendly service and conversation, recommending drinks and upselling.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of tables and seating areas meet our high standards for every customer you greet.
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent standards of customer service, ensuring each and every customer receives the best service possible.
- Attention to detail to ensure you serve the customer with the correct order every time and pay particular attention to allergens.
- Undertaking continual training to develop your skills and knowledge

The Old Plough is located in Ashton on Mersey, which is near Sale. This site is at the heart of this thriving village and its community. It has an excellent reputation for quality drink and customer service. It caters for everyone, with a function area and large outdoor beer garden where many summer events are regularly held. The site benefits from live sports, live entertainment, and informal dining.
