We are looking for Locum Consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology for NHS trust across UK.

**Job Title**: Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology

**Location**: NHS TRUST

**Job Type**: Full-time/Part-time/Contract

**Qualifications Required**:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligible for registration.
- Completion of specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG/FRCOG) or equivalent.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) relevant to Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert clinical care to patients in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and ensure effective collaboration.
- Perform surgical procedures related to Obstetrics and Gynaecology, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including Registrars and Foundation Doctors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols within the department.
- Participate in teaching and training activities for medical students, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in audit and research activities to contribute to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
- Provide support and advice to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, following NHS guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialties within the Trust to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex needs.
- Stay abreast of developments in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through attending conferences, seminars, and undertaking further education as necessary.
- Contribute to service development initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and experience.

We are hiring for locum position.

- DBS which should be on updated service.
- Two references from the last two years of employment.
- Blood reports.
- Life support training and MT.
