Transport Coordinator

We are recruiting for an Transport Coordinator for a successful and long established manufacturer Based in Blandford Forum.

The company is a family owned business established in 1953 to manufacture & supply equipment for the then recently founded National Health Service (NHS).

This equipment is distributed around the UK and Ireland via a vast transport and logistics network.

**The Main Aim of the Role**:
To ensure that all Company Vehicles are legal and compliant and that the Transport and Despatch cells are fully supported at all times.

**Responsibilities**
- Resolving any questions or queries that may be raised both professionally and politely at all times and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- To be responsible for all Company vehicle licence checks and to administer and maintain all records accordingly.
- Liaising with all internal and external stakeholder to ensure products are delivered correctly, in accordance with schedules and booking in where necessary.
- Create and maintain a database to ensure that all company vehicles adhere to the inspection
- maintenance schedules and for ensuring vehicles are available for inspection
- maintenance as and when required and in a timely fashion.
- Responsible that all Company vehicles are legally compliant

**Hours**: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

**Salary**: £26,605 per annum
