Reporting to Director of Operations we are currently recruiting for a **Maintenance Coordinator** to join** **our maintenance team and ensure the upkeep of the hotel's bedrooms and general functions rooms.
**Duties of Maintenance Coordinator will include**:
- A trade qualification in any recognised trade
- Oversee the day to day maintenance and projects of the Hotel, Chalets, Restaurants and Conferencing and Events spaces.
- To work and liaise with members of the maintenance team.
- Manage the task list of daily repairs on the Logit App system delegating as required, but also supporting or participating as required.
- To be able to prioritise important jobs and ensure they are completed efficiently by your team or yourself.
- To proactively ensure that any repairs, painting and other maintenance duties are carried out in a professional manner
- To dispose of all waste in accordance with company policies
- To ensure that any maintenance and other reasonable requests made by all departments are carried out as soon as it is reasonably possible
**Essential competencies for the **Maintenance Coordinator**
- Practical experience & ability in range of maintenance tasks / disciplines - particularly in plumbing and electrics
- Clean and full driving licence
- Trade qualification is a must
- Fit to work outside in all weathers
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
- Understanding of the importance of Health & Safety within the workplace.
**Desirable competencies**:
- JCB Licence an advantage
- Time management skills and ability to effectively prioritise workload to deadlines
- Experience of hand and power tools
- Experience of using grounds machinery
A JCB Licence will be a distinct advantage, as is experience of hand and power tools and of using grounds machinery.
Please be aware that the hotel is open 7 days a week therefore weekend working is an essential part of the role.
