**THE GIG**

It is an exciting time for Dr. Martens as we continue a journey of significant growth, expansion, and improvement. The DM Technology team is at the core of this - transforming technology into a key business enabler. We are looking for an Agile Coach to fulfil a newly created role in our global product and agile organisation. You are passionate about agile, enjoy coaching teams to success and understand how to get the best out of people in a fast-growing environment.

The Agile Coach champions agile mindset and methodology and its adoption across the Technology team and wider business; leads the development of methodology and practices, training and coaches others to ensure alignment with overall transformation goals.

As our Agile Coach you will be responsible for:

- Leading the design, development, implementation and iterative refinement of the agile and/or product owner methodologies and practices. Aligning methodology with design thinking principles and success criteria for customer-centric products.
- Demonstrating your knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, and communication
- able to ‘walk the leadership floor’ and identify improvement opportunities on the fly to multiple Senior stakeholders and teams, and support with proactive interventions.
- Acting as an active champion of agile methodology works closely with executives, business unit leaders, product owners, and technology teams to advance the awareness and adoption of agile principles and standards, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Hands-on demonstration of agile concepts & use of artefacts such as user stories, impact maps, story maps, story prioritisation techniques, big visible charts, planning, estimation techniques, governance sessions, etc.
- Develops strategies for business unit adoption of those methodologies and ongoing development of customer-centric agile capabilities within business units.
- Coaching senior leaders through the agile transformation, helping to ensure alignment with established methodologies and transformation goals.
- Tracking and sharing customer-centric agile best practices. As well as developing and maintaining a network of relevant practitioner contacts to perform direct research to remain current on industry and competitor practices.

**OUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES**

It’s never just a job at Dr. Martens. It’s a way of life. We live and breathe our Fundamentals: INTEGRITY. PROFESSIONAL. PASSIONATE. TEAM PLAYERS.

We’re a diverse bunch who believe each role is as unique as the person who does it.

**THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART**

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

- An agile role model: you work collaboratively, you show courage, you take responsibility, you have confidence, you speak out, you are creative, and you simplify.
- A self-starter with a results-driven approach and a desire to win, with strong business acumen and commercial focus.
- An excellent communicator, negotiator and people-person. You will need to balance the necessary demands of ‘run, grow, transform’ and support the requirements needed to move the business forwards in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience of using Jira and Confluence systems or similar
- Practical experience of scaling agile mindset and methodology across Teams, Teams of Teams, and Overall Portfolio
- Solid educational background and demonstrated desire for continuous professional learning.
- Relevant certification from a recognised body is helpful but real-life experience is of more importance
- Proven, prior experience as an Agile Coach for long-lived value streams and Products.
- At Dr. Martens, we are committed to creating an environment where we can all be proud to work and be our best. Part of this commitment is being an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, and age._
