Overview:
We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver/Yard Hand to join our team at our Reading site close to the M4.

As a forklift driver you will be expected to drive our 16t Counterbalance machine (B3 Licence) to load, unload and move our cabins around our Reading site and be responsible for organising the stock in the yard in an efficient manner with the support of your line manager. When not driving the forks you will join the existing team in testing and making basic repairs to our fleet of temporary accommodation units. This may include basic plumbing, carpentry, fitting blinds and painting. Its a fast paced and reactive environment with a small team working together to get the units to the high standards that our customers expect.

We are looking for someone locally based who has a B3 forklift licence and relevant experience moving cabins and who is good with their hands and enjoys a variety of challenges when not driving the forks..

Duties:
Move cabins around our Reading site to facilitate testing, repair and storage as well as loading and unloading lorries.

Keep the work bays stocked with units to be worked on

Keep the yard stock in a tidy ordered fashion
- When not driving the forklift, to help test, maintain and carry out basic repairs to our large fleet of temporary accommodation

Opening and closing site on occasions as required

**Requirements**:

- B3 Counter balance forklift licence
- Mechanical knowledge to operate equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
