**RECEPTIONIST**

**Reports to**:Office Manager / Park Manager / Head Office

**Job Purpose**

You will be based in the reception area of the holiday park and will be the central point of contact for the employees, head office and directors. You will be required to be friendly, professional and capable of working under pressure and to a tight schedule. You will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, and have an outgoing personality. The receptionist will need to be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that customers receive the best possible experience at the holiday park and that they will want to return because of this.

All employees are expected to be flexible and adaptable, as well as trustworthy, efficient and organised.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To work using Elite Parks system - the owners and booking system.
- Carry out instructions as and when requested by your park manager or head office.
- Ensure all employees, owners and holiday makers are complying with park and company rules.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between Owners / Holiday makers/visitors/suppliers/enquiries and employees.
- You will be responsible for the money in the reception.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are being followed.

**Duties: these may/will include but are not limited to**:
**Reception Duties**:

- Plan your days and organise your work load.
- Communicate regularly with owners and holiday makers.
- Answer a high volume of queries, log calls were required and have a good telephone manner at all times.
- Process all payments efficiently, prepare and deposit weekly banking
- Keep the reception office clean, organized and tidy
- Keep all park and customer information on file in an organized and efficient way

**Park Duties**:

- Participate in team meetings.
- Assist on the Health and Safety checks
- Be prepared to assist all park departments if need be.

**Entertainment Duties**:

- Organise and promote on park events and club entertainment, if applicable.
- Be present at main owner events, if applicable.
- Promote and assist in the charity events, if applicable

**Accommodation/Head of Housekeeping Duties**:

- Process holiday bookings and organise accommodation for holiday makers
- Understand, promote and organise the sub-let programme
- Be responsible for checking in/out of all holiday guests.
- Prepare welcome packs and conduct welcome checks
- Clean caravans if necessary and conduct checks on caravans on change over days
- Conduct checks/cleans on touring and shower blocks, if applicable.
- Stock Management
- Rotas

**Health & Safety**:

- To read and sign off the appropriate Risk Assessments, COSHH etc.
- To wear and care for PPE
- To record all findings on daily checklists
- To adhere to all safe work practices and procedures
- To report to Park Manager any Health and Safety concerns on Park

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (preferred)
