This role will be based in our Severn Beach site also covering a small site in Avonmouth docks. Fuel/travel covered by the company between sites.

Day to Day
- Support and lead the creation and maintenance of Management Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
- Deliver training and record colleague sign off the training - escalate any training gaps.
- Input, analyse and report all Health, Safety and Environment information to Wincanton and Client systems.
- Chair, present and update minutes from HSE meetings pursuing closure on actions and escalating where necessary.
- Manage contractors prior to accessing site, during and on exiting the premises - this would include paperwork, Permit to Works, Defects, equipment suitability and conformity, follow up requirements, inductions, pass control.
- Be point of contact for all HSE escalations across eDF/Wincanton sites.
- Liaise and downline HSE business critical updates to all colleagues.

What will you bring?
- Experience of working with third party service providers to resolve issues.
- Computer literate; Microsoft package
- Desirable experience: Incident reporting systems
- Experience of working in a logistics role
- Experience working in a construction environment would be beneficial but not essential
- Ideally formal qualifications: IOSH, NEBOSH, CITB Managers and Professionals
