We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our farm, performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of our agricultural activities.

- Maintaining the milking robots by following the correct cleaning protocol, checking for problems, checking chemical useage and milk filter changing.
- Assist with any cow husbandry as required
- follow our calf feeding protocols on both baby calves and older calves on milk being fed by an auto feeder
- be responsible for operating a walk behind sawdust dispenser which both brushes the beds and disinfects them
- also be responsible to hand scrape step overs and alley ways around the sheds where the auto scrapers cant reach and also moving heifers in the heifer shed so it can be scraped out.
- feeding corn to youngstock
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues
- Provide care for animals on the farm

- Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining farm equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Experience in animal care is a plus
