Senior Barista

_**Senior Barista / Assistant Supervisor for a lively coffee shop in Watford Hospital**_

We are looking for an awesome new Senior Barista / Assistant Supervisor for our coffee shop based within Watford General Hospital. This is a chance to really take responsibility within the team and support the Manager with the day to day running for the store.

Your day-to-day role will be to work at the coffee shop situated in Watford hospital, working with the team to make hot & cold drinks including smoothies, frappes and coolers. Outstanding customer service is required with a friendly outgoing demeanour. You will make sure that the store is well stocked, the displays are looking fabulous and everywhere is clean and tidy. You will also support the Manager with ordering stock, opening and closing activities and cashing up.

This role requires someone with a cheerful personality who is willing to get stuck in and be a Champion for the Peabodys Coffee brand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Making and serving coffee, tea, other drinks including smoothies, frappes, coolers and a selection of food products specified in our menu.
- Ensure all customers receive the highest quality product and outstanding, friendly customer service.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Ensuring that the stock rooms and back office remain tidy and organised.
- Completing H&S checks and paperwork
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in a consistent manner.
- Handling cash and completing opening & closing activities.

**Experience**:
2 years’ experience as a Barista with supervisory experience preferred. Outstanding customer service skills, amazing interpersonal skills, and experience of working in a fast paced, lively environment a must

Hours: Full time. 40 hours per week, via rota, over a period of 5 days out of 7 days, including weekends.

Our store is open:
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 8.00pm / Saturday & Sunday - 7.00am to 6.00pm

**Expected Start Date**: ASAP

**Salary**: £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
