**Job Title**:Sewing Machinist

**Location**: Mitcham, South London

**Salary**: £12 - £14 per hour

**Working hours**:8:30am - 4:30pm

**Job Type**:Full time / Part time - Permanent

**The role**:

- Vesa Design are looking to expand their team of professional sewing machinists and dressmakers.
- The role will consist of designing dance costumes for the world's top dancers.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- This can consist of working overtime in high season as the demand is high.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the sewing industry. Previous experience in dance wear is not necessary.
- Must be numerate, have self-discipline and be able to work safely on their own initiative sometimes without supervision and be able to learn from their mistakes.
- It is important that the applicant is able to work within a small team and have good communications skills.
