Furniture Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver/ Helper required for furniture company.

The role will require the loading and unloading of large pieces of wooden furniture and face to face communication with customers when delivering their items. A typical week may involve being on the road driving for 3 days, however some flexibility will be required. We require excellent record keeping skills and a professional mannerism as a representative of the company.
- **Continuous stock management in store room stacking and packing stock safely**
- **Keeping a constant list of stock and the position of stock**
- **Learn vend stock management and update all incoming stock**
- **Assembling furniture in showroom and setting up displays**:

- **Looking at outgoing deliveries and picking theitems stock ready for delivery**:

- **Filling all completed delivery notes**:

- **Update customers after receiving the delivery and organise either delivery or collection**:

- **Deal with all collections**:

- **Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock**:

- **Update stock check every Friday and create spreadsheet with data**:

- **Offloading all incoming deliveries and checking off all items are correct before signing**:

- **Loading delivery vans for deliveries outgoing making sure all correct items are loaded & Assisting with deliveries to customers houses.**:

- **And all associated tasks**

- **Having a friendly and engaging personality.**
- **Comfortable working with members of the public.**
- **Should have a confident manner.**
- **Must be helpful and polite.**
- **Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.**
- **Knowledge of inventory techniques.**
- **Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-16 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
