We are a small friendly team and work together to make sure our customers are looked after. Our websites sell to retail as well as wholesale customers.

The Role

We are looking for a part-time Warehouse Operative to work a 3 hour shift, 5 days a week Monday - Friday. You will pick and pack orders and organise the stock in our Lancing Warehouse.

Duties to include:

- Picking orders and packaging them meticulously to ensure they are well presented for customers
- Completing all paperwork for orders and flagging any short orders or missing items to office staff
- Accepting deliveries into the warehouse
- Checking new deliveries against packing list to ensure there are no missing or faulty products
- Following internal procedure in case of short or damaged deliveries
- Moving stock, unpacking new deliveries and shelving products accordingly
- Completing routine stock take and reporting low stock and out of stock SKUs
- Ensuring warehouse environment is kept safe and tidy - disposing of pallets and boxes / packing materials as appropriate
- Communication: keeping the line of communication open between warehouse and office
- Working to timescales and packing orders in a timely manner

Skills required:

- Strong English language skills - both written and spoken
- Previous warehouse experience, including picking and packing (please highlight this experience in your Cover Letter)
- Able to adapt and work quickly
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work using own initiative without requiring constant supervision
- You must be motivated, enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable and punctual
- To be physically fit and able to lift /carry heavy items and be able to stand for long periods.
