Tax specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Durham.
The role could suit a Private Client Tax professional looking to work with an impressive client base, have a personal progression plan, and lots of flexibility. Also the option of getting involved in corporate tax advisory work (if desired).
The successful individual will be working with a diverse client base including HNWIs, non-domiciled individuals, directors, partnerships, trusts & estates, limited companies providing tax compliance and advisory services.
You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration and benefits package, health insurance, flexible/ hybrid working, and CTA study support (if applicable). Part time/ reduced hours also considered.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of Personal Tax returns
Capital gains tax computations
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Assisting the Partners with advisory work
Ad hoc advisory projects
Reviewing the work of junior staff members
Dealing with HMRC/ client enquiries
Client meetings

**Requirements**:
CTA Part Qualified/ Qualified
ATT Qualified also considered
Strong Personal/ Mixed tax experience within a practice environment
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Personal tax compliance proficiency
Strong communication skills
