**We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join us at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.**

**Overview**:

- As a Finance Assistant you will safeguard and grow the value of the hotel asset by serving as a business partner, carrying out day-to-day duties within the finance function and assisting the hotel operations controller and the finance department with general Finance duties.
- The role of Finance Assistant involves ensuring that all revenue posted is accurate and in accordance with the company standards and practices.
- You will assist the Hotel Operations Controller with our financial goals to optimize our financial results.
- You will support the hotel team with ways to maximize profit and cash flow.
- You will provide the hotel team with reports and information that can be used as a basis for improved decision making.

**About You**:

- As a Finance Assistant you will have excellent attention to detail to ensure that work is accurate, thorough and to the highest standards.
- You will demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through on them to get the required results.
- Your communications skills should be good so that you can clarify and provide information in a way that co-workers, customers and suppliers can understand and take action on.
- You will have a genuine interest in working within the finance team with a desire to progress and develop yourself in this area.
