**BAR STAFF** (WEST NORFOLK)

Two upbeat energetic bar tenders needed join the growing team at Duration's Taproom. Part Time 16hrs/wk £11.50/hr - starting asap.

Are you energetic, customer focused and keen to learn about all things beer related? We are on the look out for two dynamic and bubbly bartenders to join our growing team. Weekend shifts only welcome visitors to pull up a chair and experience life on the farm.

Duration Brewing opened in 2019 and is an award-winning, modern independent brewery in rural West Norfolk. Located in a beautiful converted stone barn on a working farm we are next to a theatre, art gallery and cookery school.

Tap Days, our popular Taproom & Shop opened in 2021. We run a bar and shop from the barrel store with a big courtyard area with outside seating and food trucks. The taproom's Tap Days have become the beating heart at the centre of our customer experience. We pride ourselves on offering a unique, educational and relaxed experience for our guests.

With expansion plans ahead we are looking for two great bartenders to join us. Some hospitality, retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but if you simply have a can-do attitude, are quick to learn and excited to work in a friendly, bustling and welcoming environment it's time to get your CV in. Full training is provided.

This role would suit someone looking for summer or year round shifts or someone wanting to grow into a full time position. 'Tap Days' run every Sat and Sun (Easter to Oktoberfest) offering a bar, shop and brewery tour experiences. From October-May we reduce our bar offering to monthly 'Brewery Banquet' events when we would be able to offer alternative jobs in sales/admin/packaging if desired.

**Role Description**
- Opening up, preparing the bar and floor ready for a busy service
- Welcome guests as they arrive at the brewery for drinks, take out beers or tours
- Key holder, cash handling and working the till
- Seating guests with bookings, serving drinks on the bar, and clearing tables
- Restocking the bar and fridges as needed
- Glass washing, consumables replenishment during service
- Engaging with guests during their visit to create a welcoming friendly atmosphere
- Serving in shop and signing guests up to our loyalty scheme
- Bar and floor close down, restock and cleaning duties post service

**Skills and Experience**
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, hardworking with good time management skills
- Able to prioritise tasks in a busy setting to keep the bar running smooth
- Previous retail, customer service, hospitality experience preferred (not essential)
- Friendly and energetic able to give customers a great welcoming experience
- Confident around dogs and children and busy crowded environments
