An exciting opportunity has arisen within Payroll Services at Lancashire County Council. The service provides payroll to over 45,000 employees for a diverse range of clients which include over 500 schools, district council, academies and multi academy trust clients.

The role of the Senior Officer is to provide the efficient administration of a range of processing tasks within a high quality, accurate and timely payroll function, for a range of clients and in accordance with their statutory, legislative and contractual obligations. The Senior Payroll Officer will calculate complex payroll payments and support team members by providing advice and guidance on payroll procedures.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated and talented individual who has proven payroll experience.

The position is temporary to cover a maternity, to start in May 2023, the length of contract is expected to be for 12 months.
