Exciting opportunity for a Senior Java Software Engineer needed for a UK retailer based in London.
Looking for someone who's got experience with checking code / coding.

The Commercial Integration team wraps around the Oracle ERP and other core systems, we ensure accurate and timely information is consumed, enriched and passed onto neighbouring Platforms. As a relatively new Platform, emerging from a recent Truly GlobalRetail Transformation Programme, now firmly in BAU with the opportunity for each Scrum Team to influence the Teams Backlog and improve the Platform.

Sitting at the heart of Commercial Technology, we are involved in most new company wide initiatives, giving you the opportunity to shape and make a real difference in the tech landscape.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be embedded within one of our Scrum teams and will help lead the way in progressing the high levels of Software Engineering Excellence. This opportunity would be great for those who want to make a real difference atthe start of this journey.

Alongside tech, we also adopt many best practices like TDD, CI/CD automation and Software Crafting plus have numerous training opportunities for you to improve your skills with.

**The team delivers solutions with the following technology**:

- Java 8
- Springboot
- CI/CD via Azure Pipelines, Teamcity and Octopus Deploy
- Scrum/Kanban
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Kubernetes Service
- Azure Cosmos DB, SQL DB

**Getting to know you**
- Java software programming experience, Java 8 preferable
- Good knowledge of Azure or transferable knowledge from AWS or similar
- Passion for Software
- To be keen practitioners of TDD / ATDD
