**Salary: up to £27,600 (depending on qualification)**

**Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full Time - Working 37 Hours per Week.**

**A bit about the role**:
We're very excited to be embarking on the creation of a brand-new residential children's home, Brumby House, based in Ryton, Tyne & Wear.
Our 4-bed home will provide a safe and supportive environment for children aged 7-17 years old. It's not just a place to stay.
We're looking to recruit a dedicated team of Residential Workers who'll ensure tailored, trauma-informed support is provided for each child. Our trauma-informed approach recognises and responds to the impact of trauma on the lives of our young people, shaping every aspect of our care.
The focus will not just be on meeting the immediate needs of our children and young people but on creating an environment that empowers them to thrive and reach their full potential.
Whilst a qualification would be great, we're very open to relevant experience from those with a positive attitude and the desire to give the best care to children and young people.
The home is in a residential area with a variety of local amenities with great travel links from surrounding areas and free parking.

- Providing high quality services that support the needs of the young people.
- Building excellent relationships with young people, their families and other care professionals.
- Being an advocate for the wellbeing of the young people.
- Working within a Therapeutic model of care.

- QCF 3 diploma for children and Young People's workforce social care pathway. or equivalent is desirable, or the willingness to work towards this.
- A positive approach, providing a fun environment for all the children in our care.
- A positive and confident approach to engaging with children and young people.
