Health and Safety Advisor

**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a background in health and safety, preferably in either Construction / Engineering / Military sectors **within the UK**. You must have the ability to deliver a high standard of work with attention to detail, a sound knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, and good communication skills and share in our core values.
The role will predominantly be along the South Coast, however the advisor will need to have the flexibility to travel throughout the UK and may involve occasional overnight stays. This role will primarily be field based, however, there will be requirement for you to work at our head office in Totton, Hampshire.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Delivering health and safety risk management services in multi-disciplinary environments.
- Working closely with a wide range of clients.
- Supporting the wider promotion of H&S Services of the company.
- Providing support and expertise on wider H&S and Quality management projects as required.
- Delivery of technical and regulatory projects including corporate and regulatory compliance auditing, report writing, technical and task orientated risk assessment, ad-hoc advice, and a wide range of other bespoke client solutions.
**Experience and Expertise Requirements**

As a starting point for this role, we are looking for the following:
- NEBOSH Certificate (Minimum Required).
- TechIOSH level with plans to obtain CertIOSH status
- Full clean driving licence (required)
- Demonstrable H&S experience (required)
- PTTLs or Level 3 Award in Education (Desirable)
- Demonstratable training delivery (Desirable).
- Comfortable working in a team, but with independence to manage your own workload.
- An understanding of UK H&S legislation and maintaining compliance (Required with UK work experience).
- Confident in a client/stakeholder facing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good written skills, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 (Desirable).
