The focus of this role is to process customer orders through the checkout ensuring that all goods are scanned and invoices produced correctly. This is a busy role which involves manual handling and the movement of stock which can be physically demanding.

At PSB Mrowka our Retail Assistant will be:

- Picking goods to order and packing them ready for collection or delivery
- Carry out stock counts as required, reporting completion and results.
- Carry out investigations into stock discrepancies
- Enjoy Sales by greeting and getting to know our customer as much or as little as needed and makes sure they have a great experience each and every time
- Sell our incredible products, their features and benefits by recommending products that meet and exceed our customers' wants and needs
- Recover, fill, stock, clean and never stop moving to ensure our floor inventory and stores operations look top-notch
- Making sure the floor is full, priced correctly, displayed to company standards, with the right signage
- Ensure their positive energy and enthusiasm for people is shared with every customer every day
- Follow policy & procedure as well as operational best practices without exception to ensure a healthy, stable and profitable shop.
- Always demonstrates accuracy and integrity when conducting any customer transaction

We’re looking for individuals with:

- Experience within a warehouse and customer service environment in building supply industry
- Cash handling experience and experience working on a till
- Good organisation and communication skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude to carry out duties requested
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
- Drive and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, on time and always ready to achieve the company tasks and responsibilities.
- Has an attention for detail

In return for your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and pension. Your normal working hours are 40 h per week including breaks (lunch break is paid), working any five of seven days on a rota basis and you will be expected to be in work during this time
- Monday to Saturday - available 2 shifts in the morning 7.30am-3.30pm and afternoon shift 12-8pm.Sunday 9am-5pm. **Work schedule is determined by the manager**:

- Not more than 40h a week. overtime paid. for the training period, the working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm
- Rate :training period £10.50. After, the rate is determined individually based on performance and acquired skills.
- We are a Polish company selling in the UK, our employee must speak Polish and English at a basic level_
