We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team and lead our technical delivery and really make a difference, to us, to our team and to our clients.

**What will you be doing?**

As the Lead Consultant for Cloud & More you will be responsible for all aspects of our technical delivery; identification of new technologies, assessing technologies, preparing and delivering internal training, mentoring the technical team, planning for and delivering client projects and leading a select number of clients in their use of technology.

You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs, identify solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of IT services. This is a hands-on technical role operating as part of the team, delivering onsite support, projects, and consultancy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Technical Leadership:

- Technically mentor a team of consultants and service desk technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Act as the ultimate point of escalation on technical issues, project management, and client interaction.

Client Engagement:

- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business goals, and aligning IT solutions to meet those objectives.
- Delivering hands on technical support and consultancy to key clients to a 3rd line level.
- Preparing and presenting technical proposals for clients.
- To assist with the onboarding of new clients, reviewing IT infrastructures and providing recommendations.
- Producing and updating client road maps and sharing these where needed with the wider business

Solution Design and Implementation:

- Collaborate with clients to assess their IT needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring successful implementation within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Creation of recommendations documents, project plans, IT Roadmaps, and policy documents.

Technical Expertise:

- In-depth knowledge and experience of Windows Server environments, virtualisation, VMware, Microsoft 365, Networking (WAN/LAN) to a 3rd line level.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide thought leadership to both internal teams and clients.
- Assist in resolving complex technical issues and act as an escalation point for the team.

Service Improvement:

- Continuously assess and improve the quality and efficiency of Cloud & More’s offerings.
- Implement best practices to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.

Technology selection and assessment
- Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of Cloud & More's existing product portfolio and technology stack.
- Evaluate the effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain standardised operating procedures for approved technologies within the organisation.
- Document best practices, workflows, and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.
- Lead the identification and evaluation of new technologies that have the potential to enhance both internal operations and client services.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities to enhance technology solutions and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for the following technical skills:

- Windows Server 2016-2022
- Experience with server hardware and shared storage
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- VMware
- Networking (VLANS/NAC)
- Firewall Installation and Management
- Microsoft 365 - SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID
- Microsoft Azure

These skills should be to a 3rd line level including installation, configuration, and migrations.
