**What will the apprentice be doing?**

Typical day to day duties will include:

- Welding
- Finishing
- MIG welding on a variety of jobs
- Prepare materials for jobs
- Maintain work area
- Small amount of time using press brake
- Housekeeping

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

This is a level 2 Welding apprenticeship delivered over a period of 18 months. The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre in Telford, TF3 3AJ, 2 days per week during this time.

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**
