We require caring and enthusiastic individuals to assist a disabled gentleman to live independently at home. Experience working with complex needs is essential, to have a great understanding of spinal injury is a must.

The client lives with a spinal injury, during a water skiing accident over 20 years ago resulting in Paralysis from C4 and uses a wheelchair to move around both inside and outside the home. He loves to listen to music of all kinds, watch bands, and enjoys going to the theatre and cinema. He loves being around others, and is a real ‘people person’

This is an excellent opportunity to work in care/healthcare and to have an enjoyable, worthwhile job that gives back. The client lives with his Mum at home in Penketh WA5. He is supported throughout the day by his mum, his lead PA and agency carers, the client is looking to recruit a small team of PA’s to support him throughout the day with his morning routine, meals preparation and assisted eating, from the hours of 09:00-14:40 during split shifts and 16:30-20:30, Saturday and Sunday

The role will include; personal care, moving and handling, continence care, administration of medications, skincare, assistance to access activities in the community, befriending, and supporting the client during any travel (as required).

Hourly pay rate is £12.50 per hour.
