**Warehouse Controller Goods In, 3pm-11pm Mon - Fri**

**Reports to Warehouse Manager**

As a dynamic leader of our Supply Chain Team, you will be pivotal in providing the expertise to lead and drive change across the business to guarantee the business’s ambitious growth plans.

You will be responsible for the organisation of all warehousing, material handling, loading, and unloading dispatch and stock. The role will report to the
Warehouse Manager.

**Key Accountability**
- Work with the warehouse on maintaining and balancing general inventory
- Ensure all stock movements are carried out to the correct procedure and the systems are updated correctly.
- Ensure that stocks are receipted correctly, at the right time and ensure that stock life is monitored, and issues reported.
- Provide relevant data on stock usage, stock levels and stock life as required.
- Assist with all stock take activities and carry out checks when required.
- Establish efficient production processes for all the company's product lines.
- Ensure that orders are dispatched on time to the right destinations, in the right quantities and of the correct quality
- Oversee the receipt, co-ordination, continuity, and safety of goods coming through the factory production lines and warehouses
- Ensure that all goods and services are stored securely and safely in conditions appropriate for the raw material/finished product
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
- Carry out a regular cycle of production/ warehouses cleaning and inspection to ensure hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level possible with compliance with legislative requirements at all time
- To have a hands-on approach in the motivating and directing of the factory workforce
- Prepare daily and weekly summary of stock movements highlighting slow moving stocks or potential stock outs.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, personal and product safety, hygiene efficiency and discipline in the areas under his/her control
- Maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency in the operation of forklift trucks under his/her control
- Ensure all work is to be carried out in a manner that will ensure the legality, safety, and quality of products, services, and systems
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by Management

**1. Cost**
To ensure that the direct labour and material costs are controlled inline with budgetary standards and any variation is accounted for, explained, and reported.

**2. Delivery**
To ensure that the stores procedures and controls are maintained and developed in line with business directives and industry best practices. To provide data and analysis of department performance against agreed KPI’s.

**3. People**
To provide direction and coaching for all stores personnel and facilitate the completion of all identified stores tasks.

**4. Safety**
Raising and completion of near miss reports. Owning actions and ensure completion of critical tasks.
Conducting safety observations and dialogue with staff and capturing data on the system.

**Critical Tasks**
To maintain regular formal and informal communication channels with all colleagues. To manage labour hours daily by ensuring that clocking and break procedures are adhered to. To provide information, review, and feedback of own performance to Warehouse Manager to maintain the appraisal/review system.
To assist in the completion of audits that deliver a safe working environment for all colleagues.

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**
- Inventory Management experience within a FMCG Manufacturing and

Production environment
- Strong analytical skills: must feel comfortable working with several sources of data and information to identify relevant insights.
- Experience in Data gathering, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
- Strong personal computer skills and advanced proficiency in the use of excel, including spreadsheet tools.
- Good mathematical/statistical knowledge.
- Experience in implementing and using MRP/ERP/WMS/TMS systems (in particular SAP B1)
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Planning and organizing skills to effectively manage the flow of stock
- Technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets
- Maintain SOP’s and KPI’s
- Assist in the formulation of new policies and procedures
- To demonstrate a full working knowledge of the WMS stock systems.
- To demonstrate a full knowledge of the out of hours, emergency call out procedure, for contacting suppliers regarding stock shortages.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Forklift Driver License (desireable)
- Business Management or Economics
