Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a client based in **TAMWORTH**, who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy, fast-paced office on a **full-time, permanent basis** working alongside the Finance Manager. In this role, there is potential to expand your role and gain experience in a range of other areas including intercompany postings, project work and ad hoc tasks.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Inputting invoices, raising and matching purchase orders to invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements, supplier queries, processing payments, foreign payments and maintaining accurate supplier information on the ledger
- Acting as point of contact for regional teams and branches wanting information on Branch/Regional invoices
- Ensuring all stock invoices are correctly booked in, and chasing suppliers for credit requests
- Working to tight month end deadlines - invoices and purchase ledger invoices input, bank reconciliation, coding sundry payments, expenses and posting credit card statements
- Assisting the Finance Manager in the timely and accurate preparation of supplier payments whether by bacs, foreign payment transfer or manual cheques

Salary - £23,000 - £25,000
Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, full office based
Benefits - 24 days holiday + Bank holidays
