Shop Supervisor

For the position of store supervisor at our shop, we are looking for an individual who is both skilled and dedicated. You will be responsible for monitoring staff and finances, as well as maintaining high standards of quality for both products and services in this role. It is possible that you will also be responsible for evaluating the performance of our shop workers.

The primary responsibility of a Shop Supervisor is to supervise the duties of retail employees in a store setting. You will be responsible for overseeing employee activity, organising the delivery and collection of goods, resolving everyday problems, and aiding customers.

To be successful as a store supervisor, you must demonstrate managerial expertise and possess outstanding abilities to communicate. Store Supervisors are born leaders with an enthusiastic approach for customer service and outstanding managerial abilities.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Implementing means to prevent inventory loss, theft, and damage
- Monitoring shelf inventories, displays of goods, and the store's overall appearance
- Supervising sales associates, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other staff members
- Studying market trends and providing products which are desirable to shoppers
- Documenting expenses, sales figures, and employee performance
- Training new employees and planning schedules and shifts
- Comply with the fire and safety procedures and alcohol license
- Assessing the demand and supply of inventories and margins of profit
- Financial management and compilation of an annual budget
- Taking into account the demands, suggestions, and concerns of the shoppers
- Motivating employees to meet objectives
