What you’ll do:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for operational tasks performed in the spare parts warehouse; issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating, and placing items in the appropriate shelf locations and assist with providing security controls of materials held in stores inventory.

Position holders are responsible for the storage and distribution of stock and that will include
- Shipping & Receiving
- Warehousing
- Order Packing
- Dispatch
- Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving fork trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supports the collaboration between all Aggreko entities to drive working capital objectives and ensuring we have the right materials, in the right location in the right quantities.
- Always ensure strict adherence to Aggreko’s QHSE policies and practices.
- Assists with the creation of a highly collaborative material control culture focused on the European business that can also extend to our Global organisation.
- Able to prioritise work and operate under limited supervision for routine tasks while always following health & safety regulations.
- Communicating and contacting other internal Aggreko locations to request movement of parts and supplying other Aggreko locations with requested parts.
- Creating courier labels, pack, and ship boxes out daily, this can also include Packaging pallet loads and contacting transport department to arrange collection.
- Ensure picking & packing of goods are distributed to Aggreko depots & project sites and completing distribution orders on ERP system. This also includes Support for offshore and event projects for parts demand / requirements.
- Responsible for verifying materials received were ordered; match to purchase order or verify with Procurement; while also verifying quantity delivered, inspect materials received for damage, mark inventory items with the appropriate stock number and location, and notify relevant personnel that materials ordered have been received.
- Contact and resolves receipt issues with suppliers over damaged goods, shipments, incorrect materials and works with suppliers to arrange pick-up of items that were shipped incorrectly, damaged or were not ordered.
- Assists Account Payables with the resolution of receipt and invoice issues related to material deliveries.
- Signs and dates the delivery advice note and receipts are entered on the date the receipt occurred and receipt entry is accurate, and the proper Unit of Measure (UOM) is used for the receipt; same as the purchase order UOM.
- Performs assigned cycle counts on the date assigned, verifies item being counted is the correct item, quantity counted is accurate, and notifies the team leader if an issue arises during the count. Completion of quarterly stock counts and weekly cycle counts
- Ensure compliance to Aggreko procedures including ISO/ Internal/ External Audits.
- Responsible for ensuring that the warehouse open areas, aisles and yard are kept clean and maintain good housekeeping of stores - 5S.
- Monitor levels for consumable, non-stock items and inform Stores Team Leader for timely replenishment.
