**About Us**:
Original Foods is a leading fast food wholesale and retail supplier, delivering high-quality frozen and ambient stock to various takeaways and fast-food businesses across the country. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Van Check**:

- Perform a thorough van check following a checklist at the start of each shift to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition & has necessary equipment.
- Report any issues or maintenance requirements to the appropriate channels promptly

**Stock Management**:

- Verify stock on pallets against invoices to ensure accuracy before loading and unloading.
- Tick off items on invoices as they are loaded and unloaded at each customer location.
- Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and obtain their signature on invoices.
- Report any discrepancies or missing stock to the head office immediately & note on invoices.

**Customer Communication**:

- Maintain professional communication with customers during deliveries.
- Address and resolve any issues, such as missing stock, by contacting the head office promptly.
- Ensure that customers have received the correct delivery and record any special instructions or notes.

**Compliance and Discipline**:

- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Any unauthorized distribution of stock will result in disciplinary action.
- Responsible for the security and integrity of the van and its contents throughout the delivery process.

**Van Freezer Management**:

- Ensure the van freezer is switched on and operating at the correct temperature throughout the delivery journey.
- Report any malfunctions or issues with the van freezer promptly.

**Stock Accountability**:

- Drivers are responsible for any missing or damaged stock during deliveries.
- Implement appropriate pallet wrapping techniques to secure and protect stock during transportation.
- Ensure the activation of the van freezer is verified consistently throughout the loading and distribution processes to uphold optimal freezer temperatures.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy pallets.
- Familiarity with relevant traffic laws and regulations.
