As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

**Contract/duration**:29th March to 3rd November

**Hours/working pattern**:10 hours per week, 2 x 5 hour shifts to be worked every Friday and Sunday and occasional Bank Holidays.

What it's like to work here:This is a wonderful opportunity to work at the stunning site of Alfred's Tower as we open the tower to welcome our visitors for the season.

Reporting to the Welcome Managers at Stourhead Visitor reception, you’ll be part of a team working at Alfred's Tower on the Stourhead Estate.

Learn about the history of the tower and share your knowledge with visitors. Be the welcoming face to visitors to this well loved landmark.

Your role will involve accounting for all visitors, whether members or paying supporters. You will collect and return keys, float, radio etc to Visitor Reception.

You may be working alone or with support from one of our volunteers, maintaining radio contact with colleagues at Visitor Reception.

What you'll be doing:Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
