Fitter - Torrent Trackside

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Fitters to join us in our growing Rotherham depot.

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out equipment repairs and servicing on a range of Petrol, 2-Stroke and Diesel equipment in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules, and ensure that any necessary spare parts are requested in order to facilitate the efficient repair of equipment.

The successful applicant will be efficient and be able to maintain required standards whilst turning equipment around as quickly as possible, minimising any downtime impacting the customer.

The role is primarily depot based Monday to Friday but onsite and weekend working will be required at the request of the customer.

Railway experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given to obtain PTS/LUL certification as required.

**Skills & Experience required
- Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualification such as NVQ or Proven experience in maintaining small plant
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic Literacy & Numeracy skills
- Ability to Obtain PTS/LUL certification
