Our clients are a leading joinery and doorset manufacturer and installer based near Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. They work primarily with the healthcare sector - providing a vast range of doorsets (fire, secure, anti-barricade, etc) among other joineryand manufacture work in furniture, shop fronts and other items. Their client sectors include healthcare, mental healthcare, education, retail, amongst others.

Due to continuing growth and development, they have a vacancy for an experienced Estimator to join their team to prepare and submit quotes and tenders. Enquiries vary from single fire door repairs, supply and/or installation of door packages/joinery packagesto principle Contractor opportunities for smaller internal refurbishment projects.

You will be working directly with NHS Trusts across the country, Architects and a variety of other contractors. You will be an integral member of the team, be passionate and fit within the team ethos.

This role will be involved with assessing material, labour and time requirements. Being an experienced Estimator, you will work alongside the current estimator and assist in developing their skills and knowledge to improve this element of the business.

Working as part of a growing team and business, in our client’s admin facilities, you will play an important part in the Sales of high-quality items, bringing key skills and knowledge to aid in the highest quality and accuracy of documents presented to clients.Currently a small team, there will be opportunities to be involved with other admin tasks as and when, potentially including website updates, literature design, etc

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand a wide variety of projects/works and their requirements
- Review and evaluate cost estimates
- Understand the BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door requirements to ensure doorsets are quoted accurately and in a way that meets limitations and requirements
- Adhere to company standards and guidelines
- Understand and ensure enquiries include all aspects necessary when it comes to Mental Health environments and the requirements they demand
- Complete internal paperwork
- Work to deadlines
- Search online portals for suitable projects
- To undertake other reasonable duties (within your skill level) that assist in the general operations of the company

**About you**:

- Able to read architectural plans, drawings etc
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- CAD LT experience/knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent time-management skills
- Construction/Joinery/Doorset estimating experience preferred
- Excellent level of mathematics
- Have pride and passion in all you do, own the works you complete and constantly strive to better quality and output
- Self-Motivating
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Excellent eye for detail
- Good initiative
- Ability to remain calm under pressure

In return our client is looking to pay a salary between £30-£40k per annum depending on experience, along with a package consisting of 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), plus your birthday off with pay in addition, company pension scheme,uniform provided, PPE provided and option to join the Company Healthcare Plan.

Part time hours can be considered if preferred. You will work Monday to Friday, generally a week of 7am until 3pm then a week of 10am until 6pm, alternating weekly
