Marketing - Client Communications and Content
Purpose
As a member of the Content team, you will be responsible for the timely production of regular investment thought leadership and commentaries (monthly, quarterly and ad hoc) across the Group’s different investment capabilities and products. You will be working closely with the investment teams to produce high quality content for various audiences (institutional and wholesale investors, media). As a strong writer, with in-depth knowledge of the investment industry and financial markets, you will help to generate content ideas to promote the Group’s efforts to position its investment managers as thought-leaders in the wider financial community and the media.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Write and copy edit fund commentaries as part of the regular reporting cycle across the Group’s product range. Review for house style and to ensure they are appropriate for the target audience- Produce regular and ad-hoc commentaries on investment performance and outlook as well as market developments- Write up content from fund managers’ presentations on weekly sales calls for distribution to clients and the media, as well as on our website- Initiate, research and write thought leadership pieces, placed articles and advertorials, as well as supporting video work, to promote the Group’s strategies, investment thinking and themes, liaising closely with investment teams, product specialists and the Communications and Marketing teams- Generate content to support company events and conferences- Take responsibility for logging, formatting and seeking the appropriate compliance approvals for all tasks- Provide copy editing and proofreading of content for various corporate and marketing publications
Qualifications & Experience- Educated to degree level- 3+ years relevant experience as an editor and/or investment writer in the financial services industry or in financial journalism- Solid knowledge and understanding of investment strategies and financial markets- Excellent writing skills and ability to adhere to a prescribed house style-
- Professional qualifications (such as IMC, CAIA, CFA) are desirable- Knowledge of German or French would be advantageous
