**Salary - £20,000 - 25,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience**

Our client is a well-established leading company in their field of bespoke life safety, fire and security systems. They are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the management team to ensure the financial health of the company and excellentcash flow.

If you have finance administration experience, excellent attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to communicate with clients over the phone, then this could be the position for you.

**Duties Include**
- Be first point of contact for all supplier and customer financial queries
- Utilise SAGE 50 to manage suppliers and debtors.
- Work with the bookkeeper, Directors, Operations and Project Managers as well as other office staff to ensure the financial health of the company.
- Manage cash flow by regularly reviewing internal reports
- Create and send accurate and timely invoices
- Manage, process, submit and chase payment claims & retentions
- Sending monthly / weekly customer statements
- Weekly report of overdue / accounts of concern
- Evaluate new credit account requests using Experian and set credit limits
- Check supplier statements and process supplier invoices for monthly payments by due dates
- Pass staff expenses for payment
- Part set up of new Service/Maintenance Contracts and renewals
- Reconcile the credit card statement & petty cash monthly
- Process engineers’ timesheets and pass hours to the book keeper for the payroll

**You must be**
- Able to work and adapt in a fast paced and growing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a flexible attitude, be approachable, enthusiastic and willing to learn

**Experience.**
- Experienced finance administrator.
- Strong IT skills set
