**JOB REF: 1903: PART-TIME CATERING ASSISTANT**

**£9,650 per annum (pro-rata to £22,019 per annum)**

**20 hours per week, 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday, 36 weeks per year.**

As Catering Assistant, you will undertake preparation, service and clearing of foods ensuring the highest quality at all times, whilst upholding very high standards of customer service.

Your main duties will include; serving snacks, beverages and buffets; clearing tables; keeping the dining area clean and washing crockery and cutlery ready for re-use. You will also have the flexibility to provide cover for other catering areas.

You will be expected to comply with food safety regulations (Safer Food Better Business) ensuring completion of all required food safety management records and carry out any additional training relevant to the role.

The post will also involve handling cash, ordering stock, stock rotation and stock taking in line with College Financial Regulations.
