Inspections Coordinator

**Overview**

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS**

1. Responsible for the implementation and management of the inspection service.

2. Responsible for the processing of reports and certificates.

3. Assessment of Company and Client exposure to minimise or remove risk.

4. Attention to detail to ensure all appointment aspects are managed and completed.

5. Co-ordination of inspection, weighing, sampling on all shipments.

6. Provision of first-class customer service.

7. Customer liaison; maintaining regular contact and building rapport on business related issues.

8. Provision of technical assistance to Inspections Department for preparation of tenders.

9. Database management in accordance with company procedures.

10. Prepare the inspection service input for the business planning in conjunction with Inspections Manager and in liaison with Commercial and Financial departments.

11. Contribute to the Inspections Department profit and loss processes.

12. Contribute to the Inspections Department quality of service.

13. Assist in dispute resolution in conjunction with Company procedures.

14. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

**ESSENTIAL KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES**
- Methodical with strong attention to detail
- Experience within a customer service or client facing environment
- Ability to multi-task - must be able to organise and manage several jobs and keep each on track
- Ability to recognise patterns in numbers and handle figures
- Able to communicate professionally at all levels within the Company to find information for clients or to provide feedback
- Able to communicate professionally with clients when delivering or requesting information
- Ability to learn and understand database systems
- Good customer facing skills, presenting a professional image and able to develop and maintain business relationships
- GCSE grade A - C English and Maths

**DESIRABLE KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES**
- Competence with standard Microsoft software packages and experienced in preparing information and reports
- Able to prepare overall and individual commodity inspections services
- Good understanding and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a profitable service
- Ability to adapt to new situations with the ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and being able to navigate difficult/complex situations
- Working knowledge of quality services and the factors involved in delivering a quality service
- Good understanding and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a profitable service
- Working knowledge of inspection and supervision and existing experience within the inspections industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
