**BASIC SALARY**: £21,000 - £23,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Procurement - Mechanical / Manufacturing
For every sale, there is a ‘buy’ and as an Assistant Buyer, you will coordinate and approve sales orders, ensuring that the MRP system is completely up to date in accordance to the weekly requirements.
You will be in daily contact with a number of teams within the business who will rely on your updates in order to keep operations running smoothly, ensuring that deadlines are never missed.
This means you must be a very strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, whilst also being able to work independently, think on your feet and have excellent communication skills.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Procurement - Mechanical / Manufacturing
- Raising works orders in alignment with sales orders
- Liaise with Procurement to ensure works orders are up to date and aligned with Purchase orders
- Review list of sales orders to be approved
- Approve the required sales orders and feedback to the sales team in a timely manner.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Procurement - Mechanical / Manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, able to create/use Pivot tables and other Excel functions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Experience in using ERP/MRP system
