The Governors of Weaverham High School are looking to appoint an Evening Caretaker to join our experienced and hardworking site team.

The successful applicant will be reliable, able to work on his or her own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team and will ensure that the site is maintained to the highest standard.

**Outline of duties**

To ensure the suitability and availability of school premises and grounds so that teaching and learning, and lettings can be carried out in a clean, safe and suitable environment. This will include opening parts of the building for lettings or School events and making sure the rooms are safe to use. Cleaning some areas of the School, basic maintenance tasks and porterage. Also responsibility for clearing events, setting up for the next day, ensuring the site is left tidy at the end of each evening and locking up and securing the site. You will join our hard working site team who take pride in making sure that our buildings and grounds are maintained to a very high standard to provide an excellent learning environment.

Hours: 16 hrs per week,

Hours 6pm - 9:00 pm over a number of evenings per week plus opening and locking parts of the School on a Saturday. Saturday times are opening up the school at 08:30am - 09:00am and then returning to lock up the school at 5pm - 5:30pm
