**JOB PURPOSE**:
Working within a world class Energy Bureau to control the energy consumption of stores through the use of sophisticated software systems controlling HVAC, lighting and refrigeration services. To respond to store energy alarms and remotely investigate anddiagnose the cause of increased energy use. To liaise with the Technical Bureau, field engineers, specialist sub-contractors or Asda store colleagues to ensure that remedial works or actions are successfully completed to bring consumption back to nominal levels.To provide help and advice on all matters relating to energy efficiency. To promote best practise.

**General Education**
- Standard Grade Level with vocational qualifications in English, Mathematics
- Advanced Grade Level in a numerate discipline
- HND level or above in engineering, science or mathematics

**Professional/Academic/ Vocational Qualifications**
- Refrigeration / HVAC / Electrical and Building Services or
- Further education in engineering/science/mathematics
- Energy Management
- Building Management Systems
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in connection with maintenance work.

**Specific Knowledge**
- Electrical/electronic engineering and or maintenance

- Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration and/or BMS controls
