Tidyco is a family run engineering company based in Derby since 1974 and looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our team.

We are currently seeking a handyman who can help with the general maintenance of the properties and keeping a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. The post holder will report to the Production Director.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
- Installing appliances such as dishwashers
- Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
- Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
- Assembling furniture
- Conducting emergency audits
- Undertaking basic gardening
- Performing maintenance and light repairs
- Performing routine landscaping on the grounds
- Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, pavements, etc.)
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow, remedial repairs)

**Other information**:

- Part-time: approximately 2 days per week (days to be confirmed)
- 08:00 - 17:00
- Derby, UK

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
