Technical Project Manager with QA testing
Geospatial/ climate tech
Remote/ Hybrid role
Looking for an enthusiastic technical project manager with high level QA testing experience who can be the leader of a great technical team to deliver project deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide input into the development of high-level project plans, goals, deliverables and measures.
- Monitor the project performance in regards to milestones and stay updated on risks and issues in order to remove process roadblocks
- Ensure governance structures, project management standards and reporting requirements are maintained
- Partake in the improvement of agile practices
- Take note of team strengths and weaknesses to employ appropriate coaching techniques
- Estimate short and long term delivery timelines from working with the product and engineering teams
- Working to manage JIRA, test plans and test runs, and have input into automation testing
- Report significant issues to the CPO and VP of engineering as well as provide recommended process improvements.
- Test new software development (post-release testing/ verification)
- Record and report test results
- Conduct daily quality assurance of the software, develop test plans, and maintain test documentation as is required
**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in project management (with 1 or more years being agile/scrum master experience)
- Familiarity with JIRA and confluence
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with handling many complex projects
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Leaderships skills with good judgement and initiative
- Enterprise experience coordinating operations of multiple technical environments
- At least 1 year commercial experience as a QA tester
- Self motivated
- Demonstratable knowledge of software testing
- Team player with a positive attitude
Beneficial/ stand out qualities:

- Bachelors degree in computer science/technology/other IT related field
- Experience with risk management products and platforms
- Expertise in agile techniques
- Strong understanding of test design techniques
