**Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 + company car.**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor to join a highly successful, national, multi-disciplinary consultancy which specialises in energy transition projects. In this role you will be working aspart of the company's dynamic Leeds office. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, leading the delivery of consultancy services on a range of infrastructure projects, seeing them through from their initialconception through to their construction. Projects will be across a range of sectors, including water infrastructure, waste infrastructure, industrial facilities and public buildings (education, defence, government facilities).

**In order to be considered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role you will**:

- Have membership of a relevant profession institution, e.g. MRICS.
- Have experience of preparing procurement strategies for major capital projects, including procurement of consultancy services and construction contractors.
- Have experience of cost estimation methods and standard methods of measurements, including CESMM and NRM.
- Have knowledge of a wide range of contract forms, including NEC, JCT, and FIDIC.
- Have experience in the management of major procurements of construction contracts.
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of successful and effective team management.

Working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

- Be leading a team of surveyors, responsible for performance management, recruitment, coaching and staff's career development.
- Manage liaison with clients to ensure that service both meets requirements and achieves high levels of client satisfaction.
- Financially manage services to deliver contract requirements.
- Establish processes for the effective estimation project costs (capital and operational procedure).
- Collate data to support estimate preparation, parametric, comparative, bottom-up and use of appropriate indices.
- Develop cash-flow analysis for estimates in liaison with project schedulers.
- Develop three-point estimate data to support monte-carlo simulation and risk management.
