The Rotherham Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental health practitioner with an interest or willingness to learn more about working in a specialist service.

We are looking to recruit a practitioner from a variety of backgrounds and would consider registered professionals such as Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs), Occupational Therapists (OTs) and/or Social Work (SWs).

Rotherham Perinatal Team provides a Monday - Friday 9-5 Service to service users residing in the borough of Rotherham.

Our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team supports new mums and mums-to-be experiencing severe to moderate mental health illness during the perinatal period. This an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality mental health response to women in the perinatal period and their partners. This post will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team which promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to referrals, conducting face to face assessments and therapeutic interventions working closely with other team members to provide a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on our caseload.
