**The Role**:
This People Services (HR) Generalist will be an integral part of the People & Culture team, responsible for supporting the People Services function with a focus on UK employment law and HR best practices. The People Services (HR) Generalist will manage the administration of the people services UK policies, procedures and programs and carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, and onboarding/offboarding.

In addition, this role will perform administrative and general support duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature.

**What You'll Do**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in UK employment law and ensure the company's policies and practices align with legal requirements.
- Oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including the coordination of equipment and first day orientation.
- Address unique HR challenges in the sector, including workforce planning, end to end employee lifecycle, and employee engagement.
- Handle employee relations matters, resolve disputes, and provide guidance to employees and managers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage UK employee benefits and leave of absence requests, including yearly UK benefit open enrollment process and training.
- Work with external partners and internal leaders to approve and manage documentation and system updates, and handle employee questions.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision making and improve HR processes.
- Support with People Services projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness.
- Responsibilities may differ slightly from the above based on the specific needs of the business.

**What We Look For**:

- Experience needed for the Role:_
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Human Resources Experience.
- CIPD Level 5 or above.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with related issues and individuals using tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- A basic understanding of pensions and insurance benefits in order to manage these schemes.
