Raytheon UK is seeking a Production Associate joining on a 12 month FTC. You will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Livingston site, with potential requirement to travel to our Glenrothes site when needed.

This role will be working Day Shifts, totalling 37 hours per week across Mon - Fri (specific hours will be confirmed with your recruiter and at interview).

We can offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

**Main Duties**:
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas. Tasks may include:

- mechanical and wiring assembly
- kit preparation
- bonding and coating.
- testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
- possibly, soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610

**Essential**:

- Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics / mechanical assembly experience
- Experience in a similar environment
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
- Must be able to travel to Glenrothes site for up to 5 weeks for the training period and wider cover of Glenrothes shifts if required

**Desirable**:

- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
